Global Foresight: Preparing for Future Trends

Overview

Global Foresight: Preparing for Future Trends is Washington’s premier executive course for mid-to senior-level professionals responsible for helping their organizations predict and prepare for the global macrotrends that will drive change for the next 30 years. 

Participants will dive deep with top CSIS scholars on important policy issues and trends, learn to spot drivers of change and model future scenarios with renowned foresight experts, and put their new skills to the test in a dynamic crisis simulation.  

Curriculum

The curriculum focuses on a range of topics and skills that will allow participants to:

• Understand future trends and their relevance for organizational leaders
• Develop strategic foresight tools and learn to anticipate over-the-horizon challenges
• Apply the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the program to a dynamic crisis simulation

Eligibility

CSIS is seeking a diverse cohort of mid- to senior-level professionals from across the government, private sector, nonprofit, military, and academic communities who are interested in developing structured approaches to address future uncertainties through analysis and strategy development.

How to Register

The online registration form includes a short entry form, statement of interest, brief bio, and resume. Registrations are due by Friday, October 13, 2023, by 11:59 PM EST. They will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
