Leeds Rugby Union have signed ex-Wasps scrum-half Warren Fury to provide some much needed competition in the squad on a two year contract. The 24-year-old, who has been capped twice by Wales, becomes Carnegie’s 11th signing of the summer.
Fury told BBC Radio Leeds: “Throughout the whole season I was watching them and you could see that Leeds Rugby Union were working together as a team.
“I like how everyone works together – there’s a real team vibe and hopefully I can improve as a player here now with their help.”
He continued: “I played against them twice last season and it showed what a great set-up it was.
“I’m just glad to be part of it and hopefully I can add something to the team.”
Fury made 17 appearances for Wasps in two spells at the club either side of a season at London Irish but left the club this summer.
